Spring Break Camps

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player—teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Campers will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and defense through skill-based instruction aand competitive games.

Themed enrichment camps with daily rhythms including story time & craft, music & gathering, yoga & movement, art lab, and Spanish learning. Lunch is included and each child will receive a branded BusyKids shirt to wear during camp. (Additional Information: Parent will have access to the BusyKids co-working space if you prefer to stay on site. Bonus! If you do plan on staying, your child’s camp registration includes one daily coffee for you to enjoy.)

This program gives children a fun, active & educational experience tailored to the abilities of their age group. Kids have a blast learning motor skills and coordination while playing games with other children. Our program uses FUN to teach problem solving skills and the beginning fundamentals for sports including throwing, catching, kicking, and running. Games may include wiffleball, soccer, capture the flag, relay & obstacle races, and much more. Featuring structured, simple activities, individual and teambuilding challenges, and small-sided competitions to develop teamwork and engage young athletes.

Our beloved staff members from summer camp are back to provide three days of safe, action-packed programming during February and Spring breaks. Each day will feature a fully planned schedule of activities designed to keep your kids entertained, active, and smiling. From creative projects to outdoor games, there's something for everyone. Let us take the worry out of school break by offering an unforgettable experience for your children!

Caring for animals is a fun, rewarding, and sometimes messy job! The Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary’s Junior Zookeeper Camp is a hands-on and outdoor experience. Campers will explore the zoo through educational tours, prepare enrichment for the animals like ice pops and cardboard puzzles, meet some of our animal ambassadors up close, and even clean animal enclosures! Join us and learn more about the animals that call the zoo sanctuary home and make long-lasting memories along the way. Camp activities are subject to change based on the needs of the animals, weather conditions, and other factors. Camp activities may include zoo sanctuary tours, hands-on activities, arts and crafts, play, and animal enclosure cleaning.

Join our papier mache studio camp for ages 9-12 years old! Students will design and build a variety of fun projects, from abstract sculptures to creative masks and more. Each day, they’ll develop new skills, using simple materials to bring their imaginative ideas to life. This hands-on class encourages creativity and expression in a fun, supportive environment. Great for beginners and young creators who love to craft!

Teens

This camp is great for kids interested in drawing and exploring the fun exciting world of character, illustration, and digital design! Assignments are geared towards younger students who might not be as familiar with some concepts or are excited to learn about them for the first time.

All work is assembled in a professional level portfolio students take home by the end of the week. Access to all materials, instruction, iPad Pro, apple pen and programs are included in registration. No prior experience with digital art or programs is required.
