SACRAMENTO

Friday is Better with Live Music!

Sacramento’s largest, longest-running free music festival lives in downtown Sac! Listen to lineups featuring Grammy-winning artists, DJs, and Sacramento legends.

For the last 30 years, Concerts in the Park (CIP) has evolved from a “battle of the bands” meant for grabbing a beer after work with your co-workers into a rite of passage for Sacramento’s musical talent and a true music festival. Local talent doesn’t stop at the stage, we have local chefs, local vendors, and local artists. The music is what brings us together, but the food, beverage, and activities keep people entertained. CIP is for the people of Sacramento. It’s a FREE event where everyone is welcome. We’re extremely proud of our journey to keep Concerts in the Park alive every Summer Friday in Cesar Chavez Plaza.

Attendees can enjoy free children's activities in our Family Fun Zone. Attendees may bring blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the show comfortably on the grass area.
Food and beverage will be available for purchase from the event venue, Drake's The Barn.

Limited parking is available on the street and in parking lots, both require a fee.

The Summer Music Series is back for a third year with all new bands (almost), the same great beer, and exceptional food!

Kick it with us on the last Friday of every month this summer! We’re keeping it laid-back and local — outdoor patio, all ages, no cover, and yes, your dog is welcome too.

The brewery’s open from 4–11 PM,

No frills, no cover, just good music and good times.

May 2 – Of the Sun (Pop-Punk Rock)

May 30 – Biggie Brett (Soul, Rock, Reggae)

June 27 – Be Brave Bold Robot (Indie, Folk, Rock, Pop)

July 25 – Inverness 95 (Rock)
August 29 – Milo Sledge Trio (Blues, Boogie & More)

September – hotplug (Sacramento Indie)

PLEASE NOTE: While I strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about all concert events, schedules and details may change due to weather conditions, artist availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. I strongly recommend verifying all event information through official sources before attending. During summer months, please take extra precautions regarding heat safety—check weather forecasts, bring plenty of water, use sun protection, and be aware of cooling station locations. Some events may be cancelled or postponed during extreme heat warnings. Your family's safety is our top priority, and a quick check of the official event website or social media page before heading out ensures the best possible experience for everyone.
